Chateau Sonoma

This past weekend, I was lucky enough to be part of a French Flea Market at the beautiful Chateau Sonoma.

This fabulous store is smack dab in the middle of Sonoma Square. The displays inside the store are breathtaking.

There were several vendors set up in the lovely garden area.

My friend Jeanne and I shared a space.

We had a great time,

made new friends and

found new inspiration.

   Green ????

 I love to dye chairs, but you never know what color you will end up with.

Starting with a yellowish color, I used a little bit of tan and a little bit of green dye and now....

My new favorite color!!

Mossy greenish???

I realized a few of my most favorite things are hues of this same color.

Quail eggs,

Dried hydrangeas,

And my favorite of all, my

son's eyes!!!

Now, what should I paint

this color?

Maybe a bench.

Or a small table.

Can't wait to get started.

Rust and Roses

The boys and I took a little road trip to Phoenix this past weekend. First stop, my favorite store in Phoenix, Rust and Roses.
